Bob’s Steak & Chophouse founder opening new steakhouse “saloon” in Dallas

Last July, Bob Sambol revealed to the Hatch that he would soon have a new steakhouse on his plate. Now we have solid proof that he’s cooking with fire.

To be called The Hall, Sambol’s new venture places him back in the meaty action. The space is under construction now at Trinity Groves, readying for a Q1 opening. More lounge and bar than formal steakhouse, Sambol described it to us last July as “a saloon/bar with good steaks.” Not just any steaks, either. The good stuff, from Allen Bros. or Stockyards, the same people who supplied his original Bob’s Steak & Chophouse before, well, before Bob’s was without Bob.
