RED ALERT: Chefs for Farmers marquee event Sunday moved indoors, to Gilley’s in South Dallas

Iris Midler McCallister is the co-founder and ringmaster of Chefs for Farmers, Dallas’ annual “down home, no fuss” food festival. Iris is not happy. She’s just issued a red alert because Sunday’s weather forecast calls for tbunderstorms during CFF’s outdoor Main Event.

So Iris McCallister and her band of helful elves have sprung into action, moving the Main Event back to Gilley’s, on the southside of downtown Dallas —  the same venue CFF used last year when rain forced the party indoors.

Rain or shine, CFF rolls on.

Gilley’s has plenty of parking, though there is a charge to park in their lot.
