Cooking classes launch next month in Dallas Design District with hands-on lessons, family-style dinners

If you’re interested in learning to cook or just want to meet some new friends who like to cook, then a new Dallas Design District shop may fit your needs. Slated to open in November, The Cookery will offer interactive, hands-on “dinner party” style classes that focus on international, regional and seasonal cuisines, ranging from Thai, Italian, Japanese and Caribbean to pasta making classes.

“I noticed here in Dallas, the options were primarily limited to demonstration-based courses inside markets or restaurants,” said owner and head chef instructor Kelly Huddleston via a release. “I created The Cookery as a place where participants could learn new skills in an entertaining and friendly space, and also make lasting connections while preparing dishes together.”

The Cookery is located at 1130 Dragon Street, Suite 180. More details at thecookerydallas.com.
