Cafe Momentum, Amazon, Dallas chefs teaming up to serve 6,200 free burgers this Friday to raise money for Hurricane Harvey relief

Cafe Momentum is doing more good again this week. This Friday, September 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thanks-Giving Square in downtown Dallas will be the site of a giant burger bash. A team of chefs will be cooking and serving 6,200 burgers (donated by Amazon’s Treasure Truck) to raise money for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts through United Way of Metropolitan Dallas’ Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. The burgers are free; you’re just asked to make a donation.

In addition to Cafe Momentum and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, others participating in “Burgers for a Cause” include Downtown Dallas, Inc., Ruthie’s Rolling Cafe, Omni Dallas Hotel, Chefs’ Produce Company, Jack Perkins (pictured above, Maple and Motor), Anastacia Quinones (Oddfellows), Daniel Pittman (LUCK at Trinity Groves) and Graham Dodds (The Statler).
