Velvet Taco to open third Dallas taco stand next week

Remember this EscapeHatch post? Yep, back in May, we told you that Velvet Taco had acquired the former Pollo Tropical space at 4622 Greenville Ave.,  just north of Mockingbird Lane, for a second VT Dallas location? Well, it’s about to open. The company announced today that tacos will be served beginning Monday, Dec. 18.

It’ll be the fifth Velvet Taco in Texas and the sixth system-wide, with several more locations planned. This one has a surprise, though” a drive-through lane, so you can order through the new mobile app or online at velvettaco.olo.com, then swing by for the goods.
