Hot Date: Free Oregon pinot noir tasting on Sunday , June 22
If you like Oregon pinot noir and want to sample some of the best from the region, then mark Sunday, June 22 on your calendar.
EscapeHatch and wine expert Jason Hisaw, formerly a sommelier at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, are partnering on a wine tasting event featuring highly allocated Oregon pinots. Hisaw, now the official “Oregon Pinot Noir Ambassador to Dallas,” is hosting a free pinot tasting from 3-5:30 pm at the Foundation Room at the House of Blues Dallas. One of the rare stars he’ll be pouring, in addition to other wines: Chapter 24’s three top pinots, The Fire, The Flood, and Last Chapter.
“This will be a fun gathering with food, sparkling wine from Oregon, and great Oregon pinot noir,” says Hisaw. “No one has to buy anything and there is no cost to attend. All you need to do is RSVP to me and let me know you are coming. I am limiting the number to around 80 guests, but I’ve set aside 20 spots for EscapeHatch readers.”
