Swap school supplies for FREE PIZZA at Greenville Avenue Pizza Company on August 10

Tomorrow, August 10, Greenville Avenue Pizza Company will host its annual “Slices for Supplies,” an initiative that donates school supplies to Ignacio Zaragoza Elementary, a school that GAPP owners Sammy and Molly Mandell say has 395 students, 98% of whom live within a low socioeconomic bracket and for 68% of whom English is a second language. Swing by the restaurant between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. August 10 with a package of school supplies — pencils, pens, notebooks, glue, crayons, rulers, paper — or a monetary donation and receive a FREE slice of pizza in exchange. The Mandell’s will match the donations dollar for dollar. Last year, the initiative raised enough money to help take more than 100 kids on a field trip to NASA
