Newcomer Dallas Supper Club brings pop-up monthly dinners to Dallas

Ed. Note: Guest contributor Sean Granfield is the braintrust behind The Dallas Supper Club, a new monthly pop-up that features area chefs who want to make a little extra cash while stepping outside their restaurants. Granfield offers this inside peek at the DSC and why you’ll want to join him for dinner next month.

The Dallas Supper Club brings a monthly pop-up dinner to Dallas’ food loving community. The DSC showcases the area’s most talented and creative chefs in an intimate and communal setting, rotating venues across our city each time.
Dallas’ Thriving culinary landscape is fueled by a rise of talented young chefs looking for an avenue to create dishes they often times hold back their daily menus. We bring these chefs to our community, offering unique and expressive menus designed for that event alone. Suppers range from five to nine courses.

On August 30, the date of our first DSC event, chef Misti Norris of Small Brewpub cooked and served the meal. Our next supper is Thursday, October 15th, and will be a celebration of Texas Wine Month with chef Joel Orsini of CBD Provisions and feature wine pairings from Duchman Family Winery in Driftwood, TX.

Joel is one of Dallas’ most exciting young chefs, bringing his unique brand of cooking to our city as sous chef of CBD Provisions in downtown. He’s the former chef de cuisine at Foreign & Domestic in Austin. Born and raised in Houston, Joel trained and cooked in New York City, where he developed his ingredient driven and forward-thinking style.

Please join the Dallas Supper Club by signing up on our website today, which is how you gain access to our Dinner Ticket Password for upcoming dinners. That’s where we’ll also post the menu for Dinner 2  on October 15th.
