Hard Eight BBQ opens in The Colony on Monday, with big sales in sight

its new ‘cue home in The Colony on Monday, March 7, when briskets, ribs, sausage and poultry will emerge from Hard Eight’s huge smoke pits.  Some predict the new store will quickly become one of the region’s top BBQ joints by sales volume. (The Coppell location, for example, has 1,400 largely positive Yelp comments — a huge number for any restaurant, let alone a ‘que place.) I’ve never been to a Hard Eight Bbq, so I can’t comment on their quality. But the restaurant already had three “five star” reviews posted to its Facebook page before the new location even opens to the public, so it must be good, right?

The new Hard Eight is located adjacent to Nebraska Furniture Mart, at 5300 State Highway 121.
