UPDATE: Is Anthony Bombaci OUT as chef at Proof + Pantry?

Misery Loves Company, the parent company of Dallas French-Mex restaurant Madrina, sent word a couple of days ago that their chef, Julio Peraza, had decamped to greener pastures.

But that seems to be just part of their turmoil.  Word comes to Hatch HQ that Anthony Bombaci, the chef at MLC’s Proof + Pantry restaurant in the Dallas Arts District, has also rolled up his knives and left the company,

Bombay’s tenure at Proof + Pantry has been stunningly brief: just three months. Representatives for MLC did not respond to inquiries about Bombaci’s departure.

UPDATE: Late Friday (on a holiday weekend, of course) Miserly Loves Company confirmed our report of Bombaci’s departure.
