Big pitmasters picnic Sunday celebrates BBQ, Cafe Momentum

Whatever you have planned for Sunday won’t be as much fun as what Chad Houser has planned for you.

The 4th Annual Pitmasters Picnic smokes up downtown Dallas Sunday evening with a walk-around bbq sampling of some of the best ‘cue in the state. Proceeds go to Cafe Momentum. Pitmasters inlcude Travis Heim (Heim BBQ), Jeff Bergus (Lockhart), Tim Hutchins (Hutchins Barbecue), Todd David (Cattleack BBQ), Nick Pencis (Stanley’s Famous), Stephen Joseph (Riverport BBQ) and Matt Dallman (18th & Vine). The eating begins at 5 p.m., Thanksgiving Square (1627 Pacific Ave.).
