Stuffed: A Friendsgiving Festival is this Sunday, Nov. 18 – and it’ll be the best $21 you’ll spend on food this weekend, featuring food from 10 top chefs

There’s probably no way anyone can top your Aunt Betsy’s citrus-cranberry relish or your grandmother’s sweet potato casserole, but ten Dallas chefs – including Cody Sharp (Flora Street Cafe), Josh Sutcliff (Mirador) or Rodman Shields (The Common Table) – are sure gonna try.

This Sunday, November 18, the ten chefs will come together at the Granada Theater for a “Freindsgiving Festival” lunch that will raise the bar on your usual holiday get-together.

Need your smoked turkey fix? A few big birds are on the menu – both carved and steeped in a big bowl of ramen. How about holiday ham? It’ll be there, too – glazed with sorghum and teamed with cranberries and arugula. Of course, there will also be cornbread dressing – served with brown giblet gravy but also jazzed with chorizo as crispy fritters, then smeared with burnt jalapeño aioli and coriander honey. The table will be set with plenty of sides and desserts, including souffles, casseroles and pumpkin pie.

The chef lineup looks solid – Joey Allette, Jill Bates, Justin Holt, Jeana Johnson, JP Mancha, Travis Rex, Stefon Rishel, Cody Sharp, Rodman Shields and Josh Sutcliff.

What’s Thanksgiving without a Dallas Cowboys game in TV? You won’t have to find out because their Sunday game will be on the big screen.
