Ristorante Nicola Closed, Will Be Replaced by Nick & Sam’s Grill in October

<strong>Ristorante Nicola in Dallas closed for good on Saturday, August 4. The Italian concept never quite got any traction and will now reopen as Nick & Sam’s Grill Park Cities in October, according to Jef Tingley, the company’s spokesperson.

Writes Tingley: “The new venture is a partnership between Ristorante Nicola’s owner Richard Gussoni and Nick & Sam’s owner Joe Palladino. Plano-based Nicola’s Ristorante Italiano, the sister restaurant of Ristorante Italiano, will remain open and accept any remaining gift certificates held by Ristorante Nicola customers.

“In spite of the sustained success we have enjoyed for seven years at Nicola’s Ristorante Italiano in Plano our concept didn’t really transfer to Park Cities, so we are taking the space in a new direction,” said Gussoni. “We hope that those who enjoyed Ristorante Nicola will continue to patronize Nicola’s Ristorante Italiano in the Shops at Legacy for its excellent food and service.”
