Velvet Taco’s “Backdoor Chicken” Now Half-Price on Mondays

Just like In-N-Out, Velvet Taco had a secret menu. Who cares that there was just one thing on it. That thing — Velvet Taco’s roasted “back door” chicken — is really good. So good that it’s now on the menu. And, beginning Monday, you can get it for half price every Monday.

Ten bucks buys you a whole roasted chicken, a cup of roasted corn elotes, a stack of fresh corn tortillas, gremolata potatoes, corn pico de gallo, and a smokin’ Korean bbq sauce.

John Franke, the head Taco toque, says you don’t even have to knock on the restaurant’s back door to get the deal.
