LangeTwins Family Winery Owners on a blitz through DFW This Week
Randy and Brad Lange, fraternal twins and partners in LangeTwins Family Winery and Vineyards, are swirling through sister towns Dallas and Ft.Worth this week, hosting wine dinners and tastings of their wines. If you’re into wines jam-packed with plump Lodi, California flavor, you’ll be impressed with LangeTwins.
Guynell Whetstone, who manages the LangeTwins’ wine distribution for Glazers in Texas, writes:
LangeTwins has been growing sustainable winegrapes in the Lodi, California Appellation for five generations. LangeTwins is the proud recipient of the first California Leopold Award, presented to a family farm in recognition of environmental and sustainable practices.
The first of the local events begins Monday, December 5, when Brad Lange and Hotel ZaZa chef Dan Landsberg host a five-course wine dinner for $95++ (214-550-9500 for reservations)
Then on Tuesday, December 6, both Lange twins will host a wine lunch at Ellerbe Fine Food in FW with Ellerbe owner Richard King. Don’t want lunch? Get a bottle signed at Boo Ray’s that afternoon.
On Wednesday, Randy Lange will be offering wine samples at Grapes to Wine in Bartonville with shop owners Dan and Hazel Adams; paired with food bites, six samples runs $40 per person/$75 per couple.
Thursday finds the duo back in Dallas, at a wine and chocolate reception at Chocolate Secrets ($27pp, 214-252-9801), then a four-course dinner at YO Steakhouse downtown ($75pp, 214-744-3287 for reservations).
