Chef Andre Natera gone from the Fairmont Pyramid restaurant
Andre Natera, one of Dallas‘ most talented chefs, has resigned as executive chef of the Dallas Fairmont Hotel‘s Pyramid Restaurant. Natera says he’s “taking a sabbatical” to “spend time with his family.” Today was Natera’s last day at the Pyramid.
Hmmm. Word on the street is that he’s been talking to some restaurateurs about projects in Chicago and LA. Sure would hate to lose him from Dallas.
Developing.
(Hey, Fairmont spokesmodel Katie Norwood: give me a call–you’ve got some splainin’ to do.)
UPDATE: Katie pings the inbox with this:
“Executive Chef André Natera has decided to take time off to pursue personal endeavors, effective October 19th. Throughout his time at The Fairmont Dallas, Chef Natera has been an engaged leader and a highly valued member of our culinary team. We thank him for his tremendous hard work in managing the hotel’s culinary endeavors as well as The Pyramid Restaurant & Bar. We wish him the very best success and happiness in all of his future endeavors. The talented culinary team at The Fairmont Dallas will continue the good work started by Chef Natera and we will look forward to welcoming a new Executive Chef in the near future.”
