Hopdoddy gets in the Olympic Games mode with two new menu items: Boris and Natasha
“What better way to celebrate the Sochi Winter Olympics than with a Hopdoddy twist on a White Russian,” suggests a Hopdoddy spokesperson. Well, I can think of a few better ways, but then Hopdoddy threw out Boris and Natasha, and that was all I needed to bite. Two new items — a ice cream soda named “The Natasha” and a burger named “The Boris” — will be Dallas Hopdoddy menu features through February 23.
The Natasha is a play on the White Russian: Kahlua and vodka, ice cream, a drizzle of stout beer reduction, and a dash of nutmeg. $7.
The Boris is a chicken burger special with pastrami, house-made Russian dressing, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese served on a toasted Rye bun. $10.
Clever tie in. Looks pretty good, too.
