Hot Date: $59 Kim Crawford wine dinner Tuesday at Cru in West Village

Kim Crawford (the wine company, not the winemaker) is hosting a big-deal wine dinner tomorrow, Tuesday 23 June) at Cru in the West Village. New Zealand “brand ambassador” Matthew Dellor is up from down under to toast and co-host the event.

Drinks at 6:30 p.m., dinner at 7. Yes, there will be kiwi sauvignon blanc and pinot noir, and, of course, New Zealand lamb.

$59, which seems like a good deal for four courses and four wines, plus an evening with a cool kiwi dude. No, Anthony Walkenhorst won’t be there, but Constellation Brands’ Chris Teague will be. Yes, you’ll need a reservation.
