The Ranch at Las Colinas pouring $250 glass of wine

When’s the last time you popped the cork on a bottle of Chateau Margaux, the rarified first growth Bordeaux wine?  How about an even rarer (and more expensive) magnum? Yeah, I can’t recall that either.

This weekend, Judd Fruia, the top dog at the Ranch at Las Colinas (and a strong supporter of EscapeHatch) will be pouring a magnum of 2006 Ch. Margaux by the glass. How much? (Here’s a good place to gasp.) It’s $250 a glass, or you can opt for the half-glass for $125.

“The Ranch is the only restaurant in the world offering Margaux by the glass,” says Fruia. Except if you’re, you know, in Bordeaux.

Or take the family to the Ranch’s Valentine’s Day brunch next Sunday, from 10 am till 3 pm. $45 adults, $11 kids.
