Capital Grille Dallas hosting VIP Napa wine dinner this Thursday, March 17

You might say Nathan Crumpton, The Capital Grille Uptown’s wine director, has a crush on O’Shaughnessy Winery.  Crumpton completed an internship at the Napa winery a few years ago and shares his love for their cabernets and pinots as often as he can.  “I had a hand in several of the steps in producing each of these wines when I did my internship at the winery during the harvest of 2013,” Crumpton says.

This Thursday, March 17th at 6:30 pm, Crumpton and the Capital Grille Uptown are hosting a wine dinner to showcase  O’Shaughnessy wines and a few special bottles of Chapeaux wineries, the private label of O’Shaughnessy’s wine maker.
Luke Russ, the winery’s national sales director, will co-host the dinner, which Crumpton says will be “intimate.” Only a few seats are available.
“O’Shaughnessy established itself as one of the benchmark Cabernets being made from both Mt. Veeder and Howell Mountains under the direction of winemaker Sean Capiaux,” says Crumpton. “We will taste two vintages of both cabernets side-by-side, as well as two of Sean’s personal pinots coming from Sonoma being made at the Howell Mountain winery.”
The dinner is $195 + tax & gratuity.  You’ll need to RSVP pretty quickly to snag a seat.  214-303-0500.
