Here’s why you need to attend this weekend’s Ft. Worth Food & Wine Festival (hint: Burgers, brews and blues)

The best of Cowtown will strut this weekend at the Fort Worth Food & Wine Festival, the third annual party that features everything you love about Ft. Worth.

Two of the festival’s founders, Russell Kirkpatrick and Mike Micallif, prove each year that they sure know how to throw a party. The lineup includes six signature events featuring 25 breweries, 10 distilleries, 40 chefs, and 3,000 attendees.

Of all the events, my favorite is the Burgers, Brews and Blues party on the Trinity, an outdoor burger and beer throw down with good music and lots of room to spread out.
