Chefs Andre Natera, Jill Bates headline September 22 Bocuse d’Or fundraiser at Kent Rathbun’s home
The multi-course dinner begins with Krug Champagne at 6 pm. then follows with way too much good food. The goals is to raise funds for Team USA 2017, the American team in the global culinary competition called The Bocuse d’Or, held in Lyon, France.
A slew of talented chefs are involved, including Andre Natera (Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa, Austin), Jill Bates (Fearing’s, Dallas), Greg Baxtrom (Olmsted, NY), Mathew Peters (Team USA 2017), and Travis Swikard (Boulud Sud, NY).
Proceeds from the dinner and a silent auction that night will benefit the ment’or BKB Foundation to provide educational and mentorship opportunities to aspiring culinary professionals around the country.
$450 per person for cocktail reception and four-course seated dinner. Tickets are available here.
