Matt McCallister, Filament thowing big “Pigs & Pinot” family-style dinner this Sunday

Chef/owner Matt McCallister, managing partner Jeff Gregory, host Jimmy Contreras and their crew at Filament are throwing a big, porky dinner party this Sunday, January 15, and you’re invited. $32 buys you a seat at Filament in Deep Ellum for a three-course dinner featuring –you got it –pork and pinot noir. (The pork is included; the pinot is for purchase by-the-glass or in full bottles.)

1st Course – Pig head enchilada casserole & spinach salad
2nd Course – Selection of roasted & smoked pork, white bean stew, braised greens
3rd Course – Maggie’s winter apple crisp
McCallister will be cooking with Josh Healy, Filament’s chef de cuisine. Gregory has assembled a list of great pinot noir-based wines (including bubbles, rosés) for sale. Contreras will shake hands and kiss babies.

A 6pm reception across the street at Jade & Clover kicks it off. Dinner moves back to Filament at 6:45. 100 seats. $35++. Reservations through prekindle here.
