This March 5 dine-around fundraiser means great food, wine, culinary scholarships for chefs-in-training

<span lang=”EN”>The women of Les Dames d’Escoffier are hosting their annual dine-around fundraiser on March 5, which means great food, big wines and cool prizes if you attend. Proceeds from the $75 tickets ($100 at the door) are earmarked for college scholarships for women in North Texas pursuing food and beverage related studies.

Dallas area female chefs, restaurateurs, and suppliers will provide delicious food and pastries for guests, while female winery owners and winemakers pour generous tastes of wines that include

Wrath Winery, Palmaz Vineyards, Iron Horse Vineyards, Smith-Story Wine Cellars, Coquerel Family Wine Estates, Wente Family Estates, Chateau Ste. Michelle, MW Wines Napa Valley, Fall Creek Vineyards, Lightcatcher Winery, Goosecross Vineyards, Trefethen Family Vineyards, Antinori Family, Hall and Hanzell Winery.

Chefs and restaurants participating include Parigi, Asian Mint, Ham I Am, Food Company, Dallas Mozzerella Co., Stocks and Bondy, Haute Sweets Patisserie, Blue Mesa, PDQ, Ida Claire and Brook Hollow Golf Club.

The event willl include a live auction, a cork pull with wines above $35 in value and a gift card draw.

The Hatch HQ team will be attending just to see our friends Brenda and Clay Cockerel (the Dallas owners of Coquerel Family Wine, pictured), Kim Wood (the Dallas rep for Antinori wines) and Janet Trefethen (who owns Trefethen Family Vineyards and who always attends this event).

Sunday, March 5, from 6-9pm at 6500 Cedar Springs, Dallas. Tickets here.

UPDATE: a last-minute change in wineries means Antinori and Trefethen won’t be pouring this year.
