Starting this Sunday, chefs Graham Dodds and Jason Boso are launching Sunday Funday Brunch at Boso’s Quincy’s Chicken Shack in Coppell. Dodds tells the Hatch that his cornbread waffle ($12) and a “biscuit waffle” with sausage gravy ($10) will be proudly featured (yep, a waffle made from fluffy biscuit dough). Most of the waffles come with three chicken tenders.

Sip $4 mimosas, $5 green Bloody Mary’s or $6 “infused moonshine” in the backyard, throw in some extra fried chicken for a few bucks more, then order a plate of something plain, something pecan-filled or something blueberry — just as long as that something is a waffle.
