Grace Restaurant will transform its Fort Worth patio into a raucous New England clam bake on Friday, September 7

proprietor Adam Jones and chef Blaine Staniford don’t have an ocean or beach anywhere close to their downtown Fort Worth restaurant, but that’s not going to keep them from throwing a raucous New England clam bake on their patio next weekend.

The duo tells EscapeHatch that they’ve planned a menu with broad appeal and sexy food-and-wine pairings that will make their Friday, September 7 event a showstopper.

The menu includes cool wines like Veuve Ambal cremant de Bourgogne sparkling wine, chardonnays from New Zealand, Carneros and Piedmonte, Italy, plus pinot meunier and Madeira to wrap it up. On the food side: Ora king salmon rillette, clam chowder, Indian pudding and a clam bake with tons of Little Neck and Manila clams, big diver scallops, jumbo prawns, Maine lobster, king crab, Bouchon mussels and Long Island calamari.

The dinner runs $145 ++ and there’s a good chance you’ll drink that much in wine alone. Yes, you’ll need a reservation. (817) 877-3388.
