Hot Date: Low & Slow North Texas BBQ & Music Festival brings 8 star BBQ kings, 8 local breweries, live music to Dallas on Saturday, August 11


What are you doing for lunch and dinner this Saturday, August 11? Nope, you’re eating barbecue, drinking beer and taking in some live music from local artists.

It’s all part of a new BBQ festival launching Saturday at Dallas’ Longhorn Ballroom from 3 to 11 p.m. Tickets to the event are available now, right here, or you can pick them up at the door.

Pitmasters slated to participate in The Low & Slow North Texas BBQ & Music Festival include 407 BBQ, Bone Daddy’s, Cousin’s, Lakewood Smokehouse, One 90 Smoked Meats, Panther City BBQ, Smokie Rose and Winner’s BBQ. Local brewers include 3 Nations, 903 Brewing, Bitter Sisters, Hop Fusion Ale Works, Noble Rey, Rabbit Hole Brewing, Texas Ale Project and WoodCreek Brewing..

Each of the pitmasters and brewers will be selling samples beginning at 5 p.m., but if you purchase the $50 VIP pass, you get in early – 3 to 5 p.m. – when all the BBQ is FREE. Want to wing it on your own dollar beginning at 5 p.m.? Those tickets are just $25.

The Festival also includes local music artists Bryce BangsSimon Flory TrioZane WilliamsBri Bagwell, and The King Bucks.
