Tickets are now available for ABLAZE, a big Fort Worth steer roast and fundraiser on March 22

Individual tickets are now available to attend “ABLAZE – Igniting Passion for a Cure,” a Fort Worth fundraiser that whose proceeds support the Alzheimer’s Association.

Fort Worth chef Lou Lambert will slow-roast a whole steer to be served at the event on Friday, March 22, at Firestone & Robertson Distilling Co.’s Whiskey Ranch, 4250 Mitchell Blvd. in Fort Worth.

Other notable Cowtown chefs and restaurateurs scheduled to participate include Mike Micallef of Reata, Sarah Hooton and Matt Mobley of Hot Box Biscuit Club, Stefon Rishel of Wishbone & Flynt, Terry Chandler of Fred’s Texas Cafe, Kevin Martinez of Tokyo Cafe, Todd Brown of Lettuce Cook, David Hollister of Gas Monkey Bar and Grill, and Jordan Greenlee of Magdalena’s.

And because this is a fundraiser, the team will aim to get you buzzed then rifle through your wallet for credit cards, ATM cards, cash and spare change. Of course, there will be a live auction, country music bands and plenty to eat and drink.
