Hot Date: Free “Farm to Fork Showcase” at The Ranch at Las Colinas on November 16 includes free food, free beer, free whiskey — and a petting zoo

Mark November 16 on your calendar. That’s the date that the Ranch at Las Colinas, which also makes the Best CFS in Texas, is throwing its sixth annual F2T meat-and-greet with its local farmers and purveyors. Complimentary samples of Ranch food, beers, whiskies, wines, petting zoo, live music, talent. It’s all free. 6-8 p.m. They’re also unwrapping their new outdoor pavilion and music stage that night, which extends their live music porch out back. If you haven’t had a chance to pop the cork on a rare wine like Screaming Eagle or Ch. Haut Brion, Judd Fruia, the Director of Operations for the Ranch (plus a couple of other still-secret projects we’ll soon tell you about) has a cellar of gems you will want to explore.
