Omni Hotels has rolled out a new menu that highlights maple syrup and recipes from chef Andre Natera


new summer menus include maple syrup as a featured star. Maple makes  appearances in drinks and dishes than include a maple splash (pictured above), a maple peach margarita, a maple chipotle dipping sauce for a chicken sandwich and a maple bacon jam to shmear on a double cheeseburger.

Like maple syrup? You can thank former Dallas chef Andre Natera (now at the Omni Barton Creek in Austin) for the additions. Natera was part of a small cadre of Omni chefs who traveled to Vermont and Montreal – two of the highest maple producing regions in North America – for a week-long maple education, tasting and immersion experience. During the trip, the team toured various sugar woods, sugar houses, production facilities and distilleries, and learned about maple syrup.

The new menu additions run through Labor Day.
