He’s already making one of the Top 5 Best Burgers in Texas, starred in Bravo’s Top Chef, been nominated for James Beard Awards and appears in a grill cleaning ad that’s about to pop up on your Facebook feed this week. “And now it’s time for my cookbook,” Tesar tells the Hatch. I got my hands on an advance copy a few months ago and really liked what I saw.

To celebrate the following day’s release of Knife: Texas Steakhouse Meals at Home, Tesar and his Knife staff are hosting a big party at the restaurant with free Knife burgers and passed snacks. Join the action (and meet Tesar) at the restaurant on Tuesday, May 2, beginning at 6 p.m.

Tesar will be signing books (you can buy one at the event), posing for selfies with you and watching you scarf down free Knife burgers, free Knife cocktails and free snacky things from his cookbook.
