Radar Range: Ferris Wheelers, opening in this summer, will have Doug Pickering’s BBQ and an actual Ferris Wheel

Noteworthy BBQ pitmaster Doug Pickering is partnering with This & That Co. (the guys behind High Fives, Parlay Sports Club and the former Wayward Sons) to open a barbecue and drinking joint that will include a huge, fun outdoor space with a performance stage, cocktail bars and a 50-foot Ferris wheel, EscapeHatch has learned. Of course, the place will aptly be called Ferris Wheelers Backyard & BBQ.

Ferris Wheelers Backyard & BBQ will inhabit the Buck's Prime burger space at 1950 Market Center Blvd., adjacent to Rodeo Goat in the Dallas Design District, and is expected to open this summer
