Wow–Sigel’s is making it really easy to wrap your arms around Pinot Noir, that finicky grape of Burgundy fame that every sommelier in town will tell you we all love but takes a back seat to big Cali cabs.
Sigel’s is co-sponsoring what’s billed as a Benchmark Pinot Noir Tasting, and it’s the single best wine tasting event I’ve seen in months.
On Tuesday, May 1, from 5:30-8pm, you can sample 45 different Pinots from California, Oregon, New Zealand and Burgundy in one place– the Park City Club, 5356 Sherry Lane in Dallas — for just $40. Teamed with heavy appetizers (beef tenderloin, cheeses, quesadillas), this is gonna be a terrific tasting. Sigel’s is also offering special pricing on bottles of the same wines to savor later.
