Hot Dates: Stephan Pyles’ Stampede 66 opens Thursday, John Tesar’s Spoon opens Friday

John Tesar is the chef and owner of Spoon

A reservationist at Stephan Pyles’ new Stampede 66 confirmed last night that the restaurant will open Thursday, November 8. “I can make a reservation for you right now if you’d like,” she told me. Done. (phone 214-550-6966, Check out this link for good S66 food porn.)

John Tesar also reconfirms that his seafood boite, Spoon Bar and Kitchen (“because a spoon is a chef’s only indispensable kitchen tool”), will debut Friday, November 9.  OpenTable shows reservations are available. (phone 214-368-8220)

And big chophouse news is simmering on the stove right now. We’ll pull off the lid and serve it up tomorrow right here.
