Bruno Davaillon leaving top chef job at Mansion on Turtle Creek in November — let’s recruit Andre Natera to replace him
Andre Natera swears he’s happy running the F&B side of things for Omni Hotel‘s Eastern U.S. properties. But he’s not. How do I know that? Because Bruno Davaillon, the exec chef at the Mansion on Turtle Creek, has (finally) confirmed that he’s leaving the hotel in November.
“For over six years, Bruno Davaillon has been a champion of the strong tradition of culinary excellence at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek,” writes Andrea Gates, the Managing Director of Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, in an email to the Hatch. “(H)e will be dearly missed.”
And that means a chef of Natera’s caliber is itching to take over a kitchen as venerated as the Mansion. Before decamping for Austin (and the Omni Barton Creek), Natera made quite a splash here in Dallas as culinary wizard at the Pyramid at the Fairmont and Marquee Grill. Damn, I miss his cooking.
So, Andre Natera and Andrea Gates, what do we need to do to get the copper pots clanking between the two of you?
