John Tesar is inviting you to his New England lobster bake this Wednesday, August 23
Chef, tv star and restaurateur John Tesar knows a thing or two about lobsters. Widely praised for his skill with seafood (I’m still pining for a return of Spoon, his former high-flying, seafood-centric restaurant), Tesar likes to revisit shellfish and finfish every few months by throwing some kind of pescine pop-up.
This time, he’s going for summer claws. Lobster. Plus calms, corn, potatoes, sausages and some steaks. Because this is Dallas.
On Wednesday, August 23, Tesar and a few of his seafaring crew will be throwing a summer lobster bake, and you’re invited (tickets here.) The location is still a mystery, but Tesar says he’ll reveal it on Monday after he returns from cooking at the LA Food & Wine Festival this weekend.
$90, plus $55 for beers and pink wine. Peach cobbler, ice cream and New Enlgand attitude come gratis.
