With a stunning, sexy design from Coeval Studios and snacky menu from John Tesar, Quill opens tonight in the Dallas Design District. The powerhouse team behind the cocktail lounge includes Richard Ellman (Oak, Pakpao), Joe Palladino (Nick & Sam’s, Coal Vines), Bill Hutchison (uber commercial real estate developer who owns most of the Design District) and Coeval Studios (restaurant designers).

I was invited in for a VIPeek for friends and family last night and fell in love with the space. Bartenders are some of the most seasoned in Dallas, so whatever you’re looking to sip, they know how to concoct it. Big Napa wines BTG and BTB (Palladino knows how to stock what Dallas likes). Quill shares a parking lot with Oak and Pakpao, and features a canopied entrance from there.

Let’s take a quick walk.

You are gonna love this place. It’s exactly what the Design District needs. And it’s the sexiest, most beautiful lounge in the city. Quill opens daily at 5 p.m. and remains open until deep into the night.
