Hot Date: Ruth’s Chris hosting 5-course Spanish wine dinner Thursday, February 25


<strong>Like albarino but love tempranillo? Want to learn the difference? Put February 25 on your calendar.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House is hosting six wine dinners this year, each offering a five-course menu with wines (or spirits) that’s synchronized across all 95 Ruth’s Chris’s U.S. restaurants.  A beverage ambassador from the distiller or winery attends the dinner to discuss the wines or spirits and how they complement the flavors of the menu.

The dinner series launches this Thursday, February 25with a “Taste of Spain” wine dinner that looks like this:

First Course – Kumato Tomato & Herbed Goat Cheese Salad with Arugula and White Balsamic Vinaigrette paired with Pazo das Bruxas Albariño

Second Course – Lobster Paella with Black Mussels, Chorizo and Peas paired with Celeste Tempranillo

Third Course – Sherry BBQ Glazed Pork Tenderloin “Tortilla Española” de Patatas with Avocado Salsa paired with Salmos Red Blend

Entrée Course – Filet Mignon, served sizzling with Piquillo Pepper Butter paired with Mas La Plana Cabernet Sauvignon Accompaniments include: Green Beans with Toasted Almonds and Lyonnaise Fingerling Potatoes

Dessert Course – Tres Leches Cake with Orange Whipped Crema and Chocolate Turron paired with Torres Orange Liqueur Cocktail, Torres 20 Brandy
